After the success of his 2011 CD “Ulydium”, Norwegian guitarhero Steinar Karlsen(also known as guitar player in The Norwegian Blues/garage band Good Time Charlie) strikes back hard and fast with the 2013 CD release of Hanens Død. Translated roughly into English as “Death of the rooster”, the CD is a major step forward for the art of instrumental rock and surf-rock guitar with a major Spanish influence.

 

One could cite greats like Duane Eddy, Link Wray and others from around the world, yet themusic is so original and authentic you have to give Steinar credit in his own right.
